These fucking mosquitoes are everywhere. I have 15+ bites just on my legs. GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER ARIZONA. PROTECT YOUR CITIZENS.

God, I’m so frustrated. I’ve been looking for a job forever and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I’ve applied literally everywhere and nothing ever works out. I’m young, intelligent, super nice and a fast learner. I have like zero experience which I imagine is the issue but how can I get experience if no one hires me?
I’ve done volunteering and babysitting and all that. Anyway. If anyone knows of open positions in the Phoenix area, let me know.

Just got home after driving through awful awful AWFUL weather. Almost an inch of rain has been dropped on us in a couple hours. All the streets are flooded and there are traffic signals out. Not blinking red, just out.

What really annoys me is that there were cops sitting at the intersection, in their cruisers. People almost hit each other and they just sat there instead of directing traffic.

There’s a saying here; “Turn around, don’t drown.” in regards to driving through flooded streets. You’d think it’d be easy, see a flooded street, make a u turn, no problem. But the reality is that people behind you box you in and pressure you to keep driving. Big trucks don’t care and just chug on through it.

I’m just glad I’m home now and the power is still on. I hope it stays that way.

When I have to cross the bike path on campus:
